There’s nothing better than a good ol’ video game!
The PS4’s game library has grown exponentially. From Knack to the new-released Uncharted 4. Although this is no doubt a good thing for the PlayStation community, most people won’t be able to buy half of the game available on the system right now. There are just too many great companies making all these amazing games!
So, what do you do when your wallet is thinning out, but you have to play a new game this week? Well, you can just not eat for 2 days – or you choose only the best games. Here are some you might enjoy:
16. Rocket League
A perfect depiction of Yin and Yang.
What did you say? Your favorite games are racing and sport games? Well, you’re in luck! Rocket League combines the two differing genres and put it in a game packed with sheer fun. What once only offers soccer, now Rocket League has many game modes such as basketball and hockey.
15. Infamous Second Son
GTA with superpowers.
Although this is one of the earlier games available on the PS4, Second Son still has one of the best graphics on the system. After finishing the rather short campaign, you can go all GTA on the open-world Seattle and kill everyone with your awesome superpowers (assuming you’re doing the evil playthrough).
14. Just Cause 3
If games are a one big family, Just Cause 3 is a close relative to Infamous. Although the side missions are pretty repetitive, you will never finish two of it the same way. You can go aerial bombing, shoot everybody from a tank, grapple everyone to death, and so much more.
Bringing back the old formula!
The new episodic Hitman reintroduces what makes the earlier games so popular – stripping people and putting on their clothes (that went a lot more perverty than it was meant to be). Three episodes have been released so far, but I can’t wait ’till the next one arrives!
12. Ratchet & Clank
It’s back, better than ever!
The classic PlayStation 2 title, Ratchet & Clank, has been remade for the PS4. Remake, not remaster.
What does it mean?
Welp, a remastered game is basically a game that has already been made, but with improved visual and usually includes DLCs. A remake is making a previous game title from the ground up, from the gameplay, script, story, etc.
11. Fallout 4
Say goodbye to social life.
The long waited Fallout 4 had us completely surprised by the sudden release date Bethesda announced. And although some people criticized it for its graphics and loading time, they will still play this for days nevertheless! Heck, Bethesda even made a sick note for workers that need a day off. Or two. Or maybe three!
10. Batman Arkham Knight
Before any of you started complaining that this game shouldn’t be on the list because it has terrible PC ports, remember, I’m talking ’bout the PS4 version!
OK, so, Arkham Knight is back for what they claim to be ‘the final game’. And you’ll be glad to hear that it’s pretty good for an ending.
Its graphics is unbeatable. Flawless transitions. More polished combat. Great stealth. Pretty clever puzzles…, more like platforming, really. And although the batmobile boss battle was pretty shitty, it’s still a pretty fun mechanic to add. 🙂
9. Uncharted : The Nathan Drake Collection
Three in one.
Three Uncharted game for the price of one. How cool is that? It’s such a blessing that I didn’t own a PS3, because this game is both cheap and is in 60 fps. And I do agree with you that people whom already played this won’t get anything new, but really if you haven’t pick this game up! It’s plain AMAZING.
