Spending time with these crazies!
Unlike you westerners, we, in Indonesia, closed off the school year mid June. So, to celebrate our freedom, I, three of my friends – Sekar, Aby, Ale, and Sekar’s sister – Ara went to Trans Studio Bandung. After spending three awkward hours with Sekar’s dad in the car, we finally arrived.
Initially, I thought I’d have to spend a shit ton of money for tickets and food, but surprisingly, Aby’s dad were friends with the manager of Trans Studio Bandung, so we don’t have to purchase the tickets!!! On top of that, we were given a $20 voucher (that’s a lot here) to buy food and drinks. (THANK YOU ABY)
We started by playing some kiddies rides, like driving a slow ass car. But, it elevated quickly as we played the water thingy, one roller coaster, and a giant swing! Sadly though, Aby didn’t have the guts to play any of this… After that, we went into the aquarium convention which was kinda disappointing.
Then, we watched a circus show accompanied by a sweet scoop of ice cream! After that, we argued whether we should go inside the haunted house, but ultimately decided that we rather watch a 4D movie. There was a parade right before we left but it was meh so we opt to feed our hungry bellies instead.
After eating some udon and tempura, we thought it was time to go back. But, surprise, surprise, Sekar’s dad has a guest, so we have to wait a bit. But, it was worth it because he bought us more ice cream! YEAY! At 7, we finally left Trans Studio. We stopped at a cafe/restaurant because Sekar’s mom wanted to have dinner. We were telling ghost stories and playing akinator, while eating pizza and drinking some mojito. We finally left at 10:30 and I arrived at home at 1:30. But, it was all worth it because I was given a chance to spend some quality time with my friends. 🙂
